hen or roo

I keep confusing myself trying to figure out these chickens, I'll post some photos of them, hopefully someone can help me out. and what is a tell tale sign

Pretty sure you got three boys there, comb and waddle development is usually one of the biggest signs, another is red on the wings which only occurs in some male patterns/color combos, like on #1. How old are they?

1 and 3 are 4 months and 2 is 3 months. #1 has fluffy legs thats why i thought it could be a hen but im no expert its my first time with chickens.

#1 is definitely male. It has a male pattern and male specific saddles.

what do you mean by pattern?

Like the pattern his feathers make.

Ladies do not get that sort of 'rusty' or reddish color feathers on the wings/back, and while not all roosters will get it (depending on their color genetics) ladies never do :'(

Sorry you ended up with so many boys the first time!! :'( Feathered legs can appear on both sexes (and look the exact same on ladies and gentlemen)
