Hen or roo?

This is a barred rock baby about 3ish weeks old I think. The lady I got her/him from thought she was a hen by looking at her wing feathers at the time. What are your thoughts?

Cockerel.
Better pictures needed. (tail, face, etc.)

And it is not a pure barred rock. Mixed breed.

Well shoot lol I got played. I didn’t even go there for more chickens. I was picking up quail and she convinced me it was a hen and was last of the hatch…I mean it didn’t take MUCH convincing me to take *him home but still

I also have 5 “Easter egger” mutts that just hatched about a week ago. Just for fun who wants to guess what they could be? 2 pictures of each chick

Too early, but I'd guess that all are pullets except for the second chick pictured (3rd and 4th photos posted).

Are these better?

Definite cockerel. And he's a mutt.
