Hen or Roo?

Almost 5 month old splash Ameraucana.
Have not heard a crow. It kinda keeps to its self. Very skittish
Any ideas?

Pretty pale in the face still, but I see masculine feathering coming in, so I agree that he looks like a cockerel.

I find young guys start crowing with confidence. As soon as they quit getting their tailfeathers plucked by the mean girls, they start acting more cockerel like. I had a blue Americauna that was 7-8 months old before he started crowing.
