It looks like a boy to me, if you look at his neck you can see hackle feathers forming, these are usually shinier like tail feathers

It's a 50/50 shot per egg, not per clutch. Your hen flipped tails three out of four times! Not unheard of, just bad luck. My last batch of 19 had FIFTEEN cockerels. I wanted to cry.

I had 9 out of 11 chicks male. I was so desperate to keep the three I thought for sure were hens, they started crowing within days of each other. I ended up keeping one
