Hen or Roo

Is this a hen or Roo? I bought it at TSC as a chick with 5 others from the pullet bin. I've never paid any attention or had reason to until it crowed yesterday. I thought maybe a weird hen, but doubting it.

the photos aren't great quality but that does look like a roo to me. Look closely at the feathers that surround the base of the neck (pop a sheet of paper behind to see clearer): if they are pointed, it's a male.
