Hen or roo?

I hatched this cross between my silkie female and my tollbunt polish male a few months ago and cannot determine its gender. I have not heard it crow yet. Any ideas? Thanks

That is a definite cockerel

Without a doubt male. He has male feathering and a male specific color pattern. Some roosters are slow to mature and take a while before they start crowing. When you have multiple roosters, the lower ranking males may not crow as often or at all.
