The welsummer in your pictures is 7 weeks old ? Maybe I was misinformed about the age of my birds. I bought mine 3 weeks ago and the breaded told me they were 4 weeks old. It looks like your welsummer is noticeably bigger than mine at 7 weeks.

Mine are free range and its been really sunny whilst they were growing up so they would have had lots of bugs for extra protein.
