Hen or roo?

I have a 15 week old barred rock that crowed yesterday morning. I was told it was a pullet when I bought her. I have a mixed flock and this is the only barred rock. Can someone help me decide if it is a hen or a roo?

I read that hens sometimes crow...was hopeful? Can't have roos in the city!!! Don't wanna get rid of my chicken! *sad face*

He looks like a rooster, even ignoring the fact that he crowed. He's so beautiful! Sorry you have to re-home him

You could try keeping him, and if a neighbor complains you could re-home him. A friend of mine has a rooster in city limits, and none of her neighbors cared so she kept him.
