17 weeks?

Having experienced the rapid growth of my 2 RIR's that are 20 weeks old today, one turned out to be a roo, I'd say there's no doubt you have a Hen there. My roo developed roo tendencies at a week old. His comb developed very quickly compared the hen, too.

I have Production Reds which were told to previous owners were RIR.
I'd agree it looks like a female to me.

This is my two year old male, notice how long the wattles are:

Well it finally worked to get the photo up from the computer. Last I tried it was 5 hours and still had not loaded.
