Hen or rooster breed?

Hi not sure if it's too early to tell.

This is a day old chick. The father is a barred rock and the mom is either a barred rock or a buff orphington. What mix/breed do you think it is?

I've read that barred rocks are easy to tell the gender early in.. I don't know enough to tell. Thoughts?

Looks pure Barred Rock, I'd expect brown color in the face if it were crossed with Buff Orpington. Would be a pullet too, based on the amount of dark wash on the legs.

Thank you! My last chick had an orangey brown in the face. I was thinking this was more pure barred rock due to the coloring and a pullet based off the dark legs, but I'm pretty new to this so.. can't trust my own judgement.
