Sep 10, 2017 #1 Dion17 In the Brooder Aug 28, 2017 6 8 19 North Idaho I have a true black Ameruacana that I thought was a he but recently she/he has grown long tail feathers. Doesn't crow at all, not aggressive with others or people. 15 weeks old. Don't know if these pics help.

I think it is one of those situations in may take a bit longer to grow if it is in fact male. He is really handsome! Nice bird. Glad he isn't aggressive towards you. -The Angry Hen
