He looks like a young welsummer rooster,but,his comb...could his comb of frozen off,because he has no place to stay warm?She did say that he doesn't let her get to close. She said he disappears for weeks and comes back for weeks. I'll see if she has close up pictures of him.It looks like a Welsummer Rooster. But, could you get a close up of his comb, or is he probably really scared of you......it is possible it could just be frostbitten, as Bantammchick mentioned.
