Thank you all for clearing that up. So taking stock my flock of 7 hens consists of 1 Araucana (Australian standard), 5 Easter Eggers and one goodness knows what (the brown one).
The Araucana is the hen that hatched the chicks, but may no longer lay as too old. The others are just starting to lay. This is all very exciting!

All hens. Some hens do crow, and even try to mate the others, if there is no rooster. They may even grow spurs and stop laying.
