Roo i see hackle and saddle feathers

Both genders have them. It's just if they are pointy it's a male. This pullets feathers are rounded.

Ya i know that it was late at night whrm i commented and Now that i look closer I see the rounded saddle feathers what i thought i saw was the green/black sheen that rir roos get on there hackles

All birds of all species that have dark feathers or dark on their feathers will sheen, sometimes green, sometimes purple. My girls, many of which have black on them (GLW, Speckled Hamburgs, brahmas... heck even an all black jersey giant) and they all sheen on the black part. Don't take that into consideration when you're trying to sex your birds!
