Hen or Rooster?

Hi

I’ve been told this 7 month old Orpington is a hen but I am starting to doubt that?
Haven’t heard any crowing yet but it’s looking quite like a rooster?

Any thought?

What color is he the lighting is playing tricks with my eyes?

Also are his earlobes white? They should be red in Orpingtons.

Is a copper/orange & light brown colour!

That’s a rooster but I’m wondering why he hasn’t started crowing yet? I thought heavy breeds start crowing around 5-6

If that was a hen they would already be laying. Sorry, that definetly a Cockererl, but a very good llooking one. Sorry aboeut my typing

Where are you located? I can't find anything about copper Orpingtons in the USA perhaps he's a project color?

I know England has many colors we don't have yet. Still to my knowledge none of them have white earlobes it's against the American standard of perfection for Orpingtons and I thought it was for the English too but I'm not as familiar with that SOP. I would love to know the breeder you got him from. Perhaps they have a website? I love to drool over all the Orpingtons that hopefully someday we will have in the US.
