We got 3 total Buff Opingtons from Tractor Supply back in March. We asked for all female when we purchased, and all 3 are exactly the same size. I want to keep hoping they are all hens, but lately I have been questioning.

You appear to be questioning for good reason. I only see two, but they look like cockerels to me.

Yes the third is running around somewhere. I just find it odd that I would have gotten all 3 males. Usually they are pretty good at sexing them.

Tractor Supply??? no they're not. The hatchery they get them from sends them what they send them. The people at TSC are retail workers, that might know something about what they're selling, but primarily they're retail. And sexing a chick that you buy there, that's near to impossible in a store setting. Not unless they're a sex link, and I've seen them screw that up too.

Honestly they look like cockerels. Same thing happened to me at tractor supply. I asked for 3 leghorn and 3 sex link brown pullets. We had an employee specially check them. We ended up with one roo even though both were 90% pullet pull :/
