I believe you have a little roo. Can you feel bumps on the legs where the spurs are starting to grow? My GLW hens didn't get "color" on their wattles until they were close to laying age (about 5-6 months).

Looks like a boy to me too as it doesn't have the "laced" feathers evenly spread on its neck like the hens have. My hubby bought him with a no-return policy and was told it was a hen. Wondering about going in to bat for our money back and wanted to get others' opinions as I am no expert. Just looking on the internet, it's pretty easy to tell the hens from the roosters. I think if they actually thought it was a hen, they need to know their wyandottes better. And if they knew it was a rooster then they have just tried to rip us off.That looks like a boy to me.
