I believe brown leghorns are sexed by color, males would be darker, with a black chest. This is a cockerel for reference: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/brown-leghorn-a-roo-or-hen.677072/This is Heniffer one of my two 15 week old brown leghorns. She seems to be near the bottom of the pecking order, she is very nice to the other chickens. The thing that makes me confused is the BIG comb (a pinkish color) and waddle. Is this normal for chickens? What do you think she is? Hen or Rooster?
