Hen or Rooster?

I have 3 RIR chickens who will be 5 weeks in a few days. I was told they were hens but I know that's not always 100%.

Looks like pullets so far to me too.

I do have a question about #2 though - is that a wattle coming in? Or are my eyes just playing tricks on me with the cage wire in the way?

Okay so I took this picture this morning. They already look different.

I think that the one in the first picture may be a cockerel (I have a RIR cross rooster who looked just like that at that age) but the others look like pullets so far!

Okay so I took this picture this morning. They already look different.

It's hard to tell at this age, also the fact that Rhode Island Reds tend to look masculine even if they are female. A safe bet would be to keep it and say that it is a hen until proven a rooster.

They are now 8 weeks old. These 2 look different from the other. These 2 also are always fighting. I know it still might be too early but does everyone still think they are pullets?
