That’s definitely a cockerel. What breed is he? How old, and where did you get him? Are you going to keep him?

I believe that @sybonbon was saying that it should be obvious. However, I’m sure you’re new to chickens, and we all need simple things explained to us at times. That’s definitely a cockerel. What breed is he? How old, and where did you get him? Are you going to keep him?

He should be a black australorp and he's about 4 weeks old. I got him from a hatchery online and he was supposed to be a hen lol. He has the best personality as of now

These are my first chicken so I have no clue ! Other than my gut telling me that might be a rooster.
