Hen or Rooster?

I got these chicks from my daughter’s teacher, they are mixed breed from her farm. They’re about 7 weeks and the one with the larger comb appears to be trying to crow. I don’t see any rooster saddle feathers, and my daughter is holding out hope that it’s a hen who is crowing because she’s the dominant hen. Any ideas?

It's only 7 weeks old, hackle feathers will come in later in development.
