hen or rooster

This is a month old barred rock. Is it a hen or rooster?

Judging by the color (pullets are darker) I say girl. The comb looks pretty large, but my BR pullets had big combs, even as babies. Better headshots would be helpful.

Its does have darker feathers but its legs are not dark and that comb is pretty red. Im leaning toward roo.

Is there any chance it's a Black Sexlink, not a Barred Rock? If so, it's a Rooster for sure.
True, the legs don't really have the black wash down the front, and the comb and wattles look large and pink for a 1 month old...
I have heard of dark colored barred rock roosters on here, but it's really rare.
I would like to see better headshots.
I might change my guess....

My friend has a dark BR roo, and it looked excatcly like that at a month old. So im saying rooster.

Coloring is pullet but maybe lighting is playing a factor... everything else says roo to me.
