Hen or rooster

The barred rock......hen or rooster? Momma the gray auracana. He/she doesn't crow....at least I haven't heard him/her.

By the way, our black australorp had a minimum of 7 chicks yesterday. They are adorable.

The barred rock is a roo, the other looks like a pullet.

The barred bird is a rooster, but it's not a barred rock cause both parents weren't rocks

It's a barred mixed breed roo.

The gray one is the barred's momma. The chicks in the pic are my black australorp's. I really enjoy chickens.
