Hen or rooster!?

Hello, please help me find out the gender of my two light grey silkie chicks. They are both 4 and a half weeks old.

I think this one is a rooster... His feet and comb is much larger than my other chick and he is generally more bigger and confident than the other.


This is my second one, I think she is a hen. She is more small and timid.

Here this is a good way to find out whether a chicken is a male or female.Some people are 2 stubuirn to even try it but just atleast attempt it.ill go in steps it works ever time for ever breed.

STEP 1:get a string and a nail
STEP 2:tie the string around the top of the nail
STEP 3:hold the string on top of the finger next to tumb and hold the string down with your tumb let the nail dangle down.
STEP 4:get the chick
STEP 5ut the nail over the chick not on it over it.
STEP 6:if the nail swings side to side its a rooster/cock/male whatever you'd like to call it. if it swings in a circle its a hen.
Allways works it allso works on eggs if you hold the nail over an egg if it goes in circles it means its fertiliesed try it
