Hen or Rooster

So we bought three Bantam Cochins because they were not sexed and wanted to make sure we got at least one hen. They're about 3 months old now and they're all three starting to get combs on their head. I'm wondering if that means they're all roosters? Or is it just something that happens to all bantam cochins?
