Hen out in the coop after impacted crop surgery eating hay again

I took out as much of the hay as possible today, aside from what was in the laying box. I put down pine shavings. All the girls had to go check out the new material, but the sick hen decided she wanted to try and eat some of that as well. I can't keep her away from everything. Maybe she'll decide she doesn't really like it. I also put down a pile of grit, but they didn't seem interested in it at all. I've put the sick lady up for the night and it looks like she ate a lot of something today; her crop is large. Hopefully its filled with food and not crap!
