I am very curious to find out if she will do it with the other flock members but I've had her by herself as I didn't know if she had a contagious condition or not.

I'm glad to hear she is doing better!

That is a bit odd for her to be ducking her head like that when you approach. Do you notice if she does when the top members of your flock come near her too?

I am happy to report that ButterbBesn has recovered and is doing great with the rest of the flock now..even has a little attitude now and isn't afraid like before . And guess what else, lol, "she" is actually a "he". He is trying his best to crow like the Granddaddy rooster I have. It doesn't always come out right..reminds me of my son who is going through puberty lol..

I am so glad we didn't give up on him.

Crazy chicken amazes me more everyday lol. He got so used to me that he follows me everywhere.i found that he only acts strangely if I have him confined. I let him free range and he is perfect. He sees me pull up into the yard and makes a mad dash to greet me when I get out the car.
