Hope someone can help me.
I have a rooster (Stu) who has been badly hen pecked by one of my 6 hens. I had to separate him as he became so stressed by her relentless persistence.
He no longer has any feathers on his neck and throat, this took place only over the past 2 days.
As the skin in this area is now quite raw, is there anything household product/s I can use to sooth the skin and avoid infection?
I don't have close access to a vet until mid next week and the next closest vet is a 120km round trip which would only add to Stu's current stress levels.
I'd be very grateful for any suggestions at all. Thanking all in advance.

Neosporin can be applied but if you can keep him in a clean area it should heal on its own.

What a sad morning. Stu went to chicken heaven last night. 😭 He'll be very sorely missed by us and his favourite girls. RIP Stu!
