Hen Pecked

So I just got a Naked Neck Hen, Imogene, and her first night here one of my Golden Comets, Dolly, disappered. She came back the next day with a huge golf ball size wound under her wing. She is in the infirmary now but do you think it was Imogene??

Adding a new bird will really disturb flock dynamics. Any one of your birds could have injured the Golden Comet as the pecking order was rearranged.

But the Golden Comet won't go near Imogene and Imogene tries to attack her when she sees her.

Sounds like Imogene can take care of herself! I always pen new additions side by side with the original flock for a few days. It seems to help the pecking order go more smoothly.
