Hen pecking at other hen when treats are given

I might try that once things settle down again- today we are dealing with our first snow in the run and they are staring at it like "I am not going out there!"

Victory!!

So I went out there the other day with two oatmeal bowls for the three girls, everyone seemed to be fine with the treat allocation. The EE no longer bothers the BR! I feel that my EE was hungry and “not getting her fair share” so she had turned aggressive against the one eating the most food. I have since been careful to dish out treats less often, but when I do I make sure there is more than enough to go around. My BR is all healed and everyone seems to be happy again. I also make sure that their daily feed is more than one or two days worth at all times. I have noticed my EE gained a little weight (which is good since she is so slight- I mean her name is Arianna Huffington after all!) and my BR and BSL still feel solid. Thanks for everyones help and I hope this can help others in the future!

Oh good!! I've found that having feed available all the time really does help.
