Hen Pecking

Chicks hatched 5wks ago. Soon as mother hen started pecking them I separated her from them.
So I try to reunite then I'm them in the big cage and she's back pecking at the lil ones.
Should I just raise the chicks on my own? When, if ever, can I mix them?
Will she ever be cool with them?

When she started pecking them she was weaning them from her.
You mention a "cage"...how much space are you working with for them?

I know it was bout that time for her to start weaning then. She peck the hell out of em. Should I just put her and them all together n let nature do it's course?

Once she starts to wean them, they need much more space to get away from each other otherwise she may kill them in her frustration. By pecking them, she is telling them to move away from her personal space and be independent but in that small cage they have no where to go to get away from her.

I been separated her from the chicks.
She and the roo are in another cage.

I'm asking do y'all think I can ever mix em? At what age, the chicks?
