since yesterday my hen has not been very active and lays down in a spot all day in the morning she didn’t want to eat any food and I just noticed she’s pooping green with foam I’m not sure what can be the problem does someone know what I can do or what she has?

How old is she, and has she been laying eggs recently? Were the shells normal and hard? How does her crop feel in her right chest—empty, full, hard, doughy, or puffy? Have you wormed your chickens lately? Can you try to get her drinking some water, and add electrolytes or give her 2 ml of Poultry NutriDrench for a boost? Water added to some chicken feed in a small bowl and some scrambled egg could be offered. In hens, reproductive infections, internal laying, and crop disorders can be common. Consider worming her with Valbazen or SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer. A run down hen could have coccidiosis.

She’s a year and a half old I haven’t seen her lay eggs so no she hasn’t layer any eggs. And I haven’t been able to feel her chest since she’s just walking away when I get close and I tried giving her food and water but she refused I even gave her watermelon and meal worms that she loves but still refuses to drink or eat.

She could be suffering from a reproductive disorder or even cancer. Is her tail position down or up? My chickens will normally come running for certain treats, such as scramble egg bits. If she is roosting in the evening after dark, you could try picking her up to examine her.

Her tail is up and yes I’ll try and check her at night when she goes to her coop
