I've read one other thread about a prolapsed vent but it is an old one. Every time I push her....whatever is hanging out of her (intestine?), back inside she starts pushing until it's hanging out again! Even when it's out she is still pushing, she tried to poop but very little came out, I don't think she can poop :( I played proctologist but I couldn't feel anything odd. Her vent smells bad and when she pushes hard a pinkish/clear liquid oozes out.

I have put sugar on it because I don't have any prepH, when should I reapply and how long should I keep treating her with sugar? She's in a cat carrier covered with a towel, I added probiotics to her water and am feeding her corn instead of layer pellets. She's shaking pretty bad, could I give her a bit of pain killer or something?

Here is a copy and paste from another post of mine:

Okay, I think it's a prolapse from an egg that was in there or one that's still in there and it may or may not have a shell. You are going to need sterile gloves, a water based lube like KY Jelly, calcium and a place indoors for her.

Step one - Bring inside
Step two - Clean vent area.
Step three - Glove up, apply generous amount of lube and gently perform an exam.
Step four - Give a 500mg calcium pill orally.
Step five - Give her a long, warm soak. If she pants, it's too hot.
Step six - Dry off.
Step seven - Push prolapse back in.
Step eight - Place in place with access to food water and a heat source.
Step nine - observe for 12 hours

If anyone thinks this should be modified, please, don't be shy, make your suggestions or tell me I'm wrong.

From this thread which you should read:

Thank you so much for the link, sorry to make you repeat yourself! The warm water really helped her to relax (she actually went to sleep) all was going well until step seven, after I put everything back in place she just pushed it out again! Now all the little blood vessels in her vent are broken and the 'bulge' is a dark red. I forgot to mention that the past two days I have gotten two eggs coated with blood but I checked the hens and they all seemed fine, until this morning that is.

Calcium will help her push out the egg, just let her relax a little before her next bath. I've personally seen calcium work in less than an hour, so be patient and keep her warm and quiet.

And don't worry about "making me repeat myself", it's just a copy and paste!

I gloved up for the second time to see if I could feel an egg, believe it or not I couldn't feel anything. That makes no sense there should be an egg, I felt no lumps though! Chickens aren't that big so it would be obvious if the egg is stuck right? Maybe the egg has a soft shell? I found some generic PrepH and put some of that on her and then put her organs back and they actually stayed! For a little more than a minute...
I haven't seen her drink but she has eaten some bread.

It's possible that there is no egg or that it's shell-less, and those are harder to feel. If she doesn't have an egg, she should recover fairly quick. Keep an eye on her water intake.
