im thinking about getting some quail eggs and having my broody hen hatch and possibly raise them? Advice?? Please, I’ve never had quails. I’ve read up on them but would like some more info

There are many posts on this forum about this topic - have a look around. The main points I remember are:
Chicken can carry diseases that don't make them sick but can kill quail, so they shouldn't be let near each other.
Chickens often break the quail eggs.
If the chicken does manage to hatch the quail, it will often be too violent in its scratching and hurt the chicks and it is unlikely to sit still for as long as the quail chicks need to stay alive for the first few days. Also I remember something about quail chicks becoming entangled in the feathers on the belly of the chicken.

You just have to be aware of, like @DK newbie said, diseases like Coryza which don’t kill chickens but do kill Quail. You have to be certain your chooks don’t have it, as once a bird contracts a disease, even if they’re better, they are carriers of it for life. So they can still pass that disease on and it may affect them if you suffer a lice or mite outbreak or even just a cold weather spell.

If you accept that risk, it will be best to use light bantams and jumbo quail eggs.

And the YT channel @SugarChick linked is awesome! I watch them and they successfully hatch quail under chickens quite often.

My hen that is broody is a very light game bird hen. She is bantamweight and has raised a clutch if chicks before. Glad she has some mothering experience?! :idunno

I wouldn't do it. Quail are too tiny- too much of a chance for a chicken to kill one stepping on it. Plus, they peep differently than chicks, the mother hen might not recognize them.

Quail can't be kept with chickens as adults, anyway. You should probably just hatch some eggs in an incubator, since you'll need them separate as adults.
