I own four chickens. Two of which are bantam polish. I used to have three polish, but one of them turned out to be a rooster and we had to get rid of him a while ago, maybe a month. My chickens are now 17 1/2 weeks old, and I have noticed one of my other polish starting to crow in the mornings. And it's not just one little crow, it's a series of crows and they are loud too. I am confused though because looks nothing like what my other roo looked like. She has no spur development, which I would have imagined would start to take place by now, and her crest is average. (Sorry I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I will probably take some later today). She is also not the dominate chicken in the coop either. If anything, she always gets bullied. Could she be a he? Would she have started crowing earlier like my other polish roo if she actually is a roo? Please help me, I am really worried that she is actually a he and I don't want to have to give her up too!
