I have a couple hens (1 red jungle fowl and 1 American game), each with a clutch of eggs on front porch. Front porch is next to bed room window that is kept open most of time, especially at night. Open window enables me to monitor sounds of "barmyard". The hens on front porch I have noticed, based on sound, seem to rotate eggs quite frequently. Seems like I can hear them rotate eggs almost hourly around the clock.

It is normal for hens to rotate eggs they are brooding very frequently and for them to shift the relative position of the eggs. My incubator...obviously meant to try to emulate a broody hen does a 15 minute turn on them.
