Hen selection question , please

I have a Sweetgrass Tom that I decided to keep from a couple of hatchings of turkey eggs last summer (LOVE him) and no hens... I have the opportunity to purchase 1 year old and 2 year old hens to go with him. One pair of hens is chocolate (some white tipping and/or stray white on wings which is a fault I know) and the other is standard bronze. Which would be better suited to breed with Sweetgrass or does it matter?

As far as what I'm trying to breed for, well I wanted all sweetgrass LOL but it didn't happen and I don't want to be yet another year behind in this venture to raise "colorful" turkeys.

I would go with the standard bronze personally. But if you visit them and they don't strike your fancy, go with whatever you prefer.

I go and see the Bronze tomorrow morning- Kinda "scary" since the guy didn't know what I meant when I asked if they were standard Bronze or BBB . If they are BBB, then I'll go and check out the "chocolates" on Sunday
