Hi agree, one of my ducks was, from aN owner who didn't care what the animals were doing. He said to his neighbor, and I quote, "I don't care about thsm and I 'm not going to reimburse you for feeding them." He pretty much abandoned them. So his neighbor now has a flock of ducks he owns. And gave one of them to us.I'd be worried about his birds in your yard if he doesn't care for them,
they could be carrying lice/mites/disease that could spread to your birds.
I'd block off taht window and put her in a cardboard box on his porch,
not in a crate cause you probably wouldn't get it back.
Sorry, irresponsible animal owners like your neighbor just tick me off!
@rosemarythymeno nneed to worry. The neighbor was a food man who already has experience caring for ducks. And the hen we got is perfectly happy with our ducks and has a daughter of her own now.
Me either.Well glad they found a new owner buton the old one. Don't get why people bother getting animals if they don't want to take care of them at all.
