Hen sitting on the other chickens while they lay

My dominant lady (a RIR) has developed this odd habit of sitting on top of the other chickens while they are in the laying box. It's not that she is trying to lay at the same time. She will go in there to lay and leave, but whenever one of her flock mates tries to lay she climbs on top of them.

Anyone ever encountered this?

Sounds as if she has taken on the position of quality control inspector.

My RIR did that to my other chicken. She sat on her head, facing the other direction. The RIR had already laid her egg and the second hen was trying to lay hers when she got sat upon. I simply picked up the top one and moved her off. I don't know if she has done it again. The second hen didn't seem to be too upset or do anything about it. She just sat there.
