1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
Light Brahma, a year and a half. Weight seems fine.
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
She has been sneezing for a while, then suddenly started thrashing around and died.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
About a week.
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
No.
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
No.
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
Unsure. I am posting this for a friend and just have the info she gave me.
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
Yes. Eating and drinking.
8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
Poop looks normal.
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
No treatment.
10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
The bird has passed. Just trying to figure out a possible cause.

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use.
She has the birds in a wooden coop with a run leading out to the backyard. The run has been muddy due to rain, and there are stall bedding pellets in the coop. She puts vitamins and electrolytes in their water and also puts First Saturday Lime around the coop. Their diet consists of layer feed with wild bird seed, oyster shells, and mealworms/table scraps as treats.
