hen spending a lot of time in nest

I have 14 hens all laying,now this one has been spending a lot of time in nest box.I checked her out ,she has some feathers missing in her neck area,i found some of her feathers in the nest box.Is she broody?I do not know what to do!

I haven't had a broody yet but it sounds like your girl might be. Does she "growl" or peck at you when you try to take eggs from under her? Do a search on broody behaviors and try to see if her behaviors match what you read. Oh and if she is broody and you don't want her to be, do a search on breaking a broody. Lots of good ideas on here!

There are no eggs under her,husband made a roll away nest box. She does not growl at me. I am reading old posts now,thank u.
