One of my 3ish month old marans is always hunched down with it's eyes closed. I bought three hens off craigslist about two weeks ago. The other two seem fine. I noticed this one was very lethargic, although I did see it eat and drink. But it only walked in a kind of squatting position and didn't go far before closing it's eyes and hunkering down again. For the past two days I have isolated it in the garage with pedialyte in its water and yogurt available but I haven't seen it eat or drink and she seems to be getting worse. She does nothing but squat awkwardly with her eyes closed and her head kind of rolls around a bit when she does. She isn't very responsive, but she doesn't seem to be in pain. I have looked her all over. Vent is fine, poo seems fine, no scaliness or dryness, no lice that I could see, she doesn't make any noise when i feel her abdomen or bones and I can't feel anything swollen or broken. No discharge from eyes or nose. I keep expecting to walk in and find her dead. Any help would be great. Thanks!
