My 1 yr old Buff started walking funny. Her left foot seems to get in the way of her right foot. In other words her left leg seems weak and when she walks the left leg does not step over far enough and the right foot steps on the left. She then wiggles her left foot to free her toe(s) from under the other one. She also will stand without putting all her weight on the left leg. I have felt her foot, leg and abdomin and don't find anything unusual.
I noticed a couple of days ago, after bringing her inside, that she has a few lice so I bathed her in a bath with apple cider vinegar and natural shampoo with coconut oils etc (it helped a little). I will treat her with ivermectin when the feed store gets more in.
I guess the question would be "Would lice cause her walking problem?"
