Hen starting broody?

I know. I would buy hatching eggs...

I am getting ready... I have a hen that has been sitting on eggs... and they should hatch next weekend... about the 7th. I am getting a separate cage ready... and a light..... of course, I am in So. CA....
I am not worried about the mama hatching them, or keeping them warm for the first few days.... but, when they start to wander... then, what? So.. I am getting ready to keep them warm, at least at night.

(oh, by the way... I honestly think she went broody because we "stopped her broody" while I was worming -- had to stop her and were throwing all eggs away... so, she went broody again sooner due to that.... and her timing was Fall during the worming, and of course, Winter now, to make up for the last time, IMO.)

I honestly think she's going broody. I peeked in at them, and instead of sleeping on the roost with the other pullets, she's in her corner.

She's still not broody. She's outside with the other hens. I have noticed that she only does it after I lock them up after I let them free range.
