Thanks folks, I did feel guilty about not being able to cart her off to the vet... I wish I could at this point. But it is what it is-I have a lot of resources available, just not a vet that will look at her and give a diagnosis. I use the livestock vets and I've worked for the small animal vets here-I know they don't want to see a chicken. I'm pushing it if I can get one of them to look at a goat or lamb.
She certainly was wide open for parasites or environmental problems.
I just gave her some of the safe-guard, as weak and sickly as she looks she can keep her beak away from me pretty effectively and I was afraid I'd kill her with that qtip. So I just gave her some of the wormer.
What wasn't in the video is when she's walking around clucking at me and hopping out of her box-she isn't always as droopy; I thought it might help for people to really see her. She ate for a long time as I was doing all this and now she's sleeping standing up. It's weird how it comes and goes...
