Hen still sickly after second worming. Should I do it again??

Hi, I wormed my 4 hens with wazine, then 10 days later with zimetrin gold. The one that was a bit sickly to begin with started acting like herself again after the treatment. Then a few days later, acted a bit sickly again, walking around slowly, not interested much in treats or food.

Is it common to give a third worming?

Would cider vinegar water help?

I have read back over a few of your threads since you wormed them back in September, and later lost a chicken. Can you describe their ages, the looks of her poops, what they eat, and her general symptoms? Have you seen any cocci or other problems? How is her crop in the mornings? Any lice or mites on the skin around her vent? Is she laying eggs?

Wazine acts as a "flush" to get rid of large roundworms and if she was loaded up with them, the worms and worm feces couldve caused a blockage which probably took a few days for the toxins to make her sickly. I stopped using wazine for this reason and use valbazen. Valbazen is the only wormer that slowly kills worms over several days, very safe and no worries about toxic dead worm overload. I only use zimectrin gold for stubborn cases of tapeworms, other than that, I dont use it for any other types of worms. ACV wont do anything against worms. Give your hen buttermilk mixed with scrambled eggs for a few days and see if there's improvement...dont give her yogurt and scrambled eggs, buttermilk is much better and easily absorbed in the digestive tract. Yogurt tends to pass through them.

I will give her the mixture tonight. Should I still do the valbazen sometime in the future?
