Hen stopped laying after being sick

Hellow again, another newbie question. I have a laying RIR that got sick about two weeks ago (went and got medication for her). I believe she had cocci. After a few days of the medication she perked back up, became her normal self and started eating and drinking regularly again. The question is why has she stopped laying eggs? Before she got sick, she would produce an egg a day almost like clockwork and now she has not produced a single egg in nearly 2 weeks. Checked to see if she was blocked in any way and it didn't seem like she was. Any one have any answers for me?

It takes them a while, sometimes several months, to fully recover and get all the "plumbing" working normal again.

Thanks for the quick response and the Welcome! I am surpirsed it would take that long especially since she was sick really only a couple of days - I guess I'll learn as I go. Thanks again
