I have a 7 month old black frizzle/australorp mix that has been laying pretty much an egg a day since she was 4 months old. She has not laid an egg in over a week. She does not seem to be eggbound, she is running around like usual, eating and drinking fine, etc. She doesn't seem uncomfortable at all. I tried the warm soak and she had no interest in it at all. Any ideas on what might be wrong?
Oh, she also smells sort of bad, but she's been rolling in the chicken yard dirt. I don't know if that made her smell or if something else is going on. The rooster that lives with her doesn't smell at all.
