Hen turkey not laying?

I have a Royal Palm hen that is 3 years old. She hasn't laid yet this year. She has always started laying in early March. What age do turkeys stop laying? My other 5 hens have been laying for 3 or 4 weeks now.

I honestly don’t know but maybe she just quit early. I’ve had many chickens do that. I have a BBW hen turkey and she just layed the first and second egg of her second season laying!! She’ll be 2 years old this month! What do you do with your turkey eggs?

I have had an eleven year old hen lay eggs but it was a greatly reduced quantity.

That's good to hear. I was planning on selling her. I might keep her for another 2-3 months and see if she lays.

Keep the genetics of the 11yo hen. So many birds these days can’t past 3-4 yo

It was a heritage Blue Slate. Heritage turkeys can easily live long lives.

I have 15 eggs hatching in 11 days, and I'm going to set 30 eggs tomorrow. I staggered them because I don't want to attempt raising 45 turkeys at once.
