my hens face is swollen under her eye could anyone help me out

She may have a sinus infection - can you post pics? Pics will help a lot to tell if it is a sinus infection or perhaps a reaction to a bug bite or injury.

I dealt with sinus infections in several turkeys over the winter, and a 5-day course of once-per-day injections of Tylan cleared them right up.

That does look like my turkey's faces last winter when they had sinus infections. I would try the Tylan injectable - giving a shot into the enormous breasts of these birds is really easy. I know you're going to ask dosage and I apologize but I simply cannot remember and I don't want to tell you the wrong thing, so perhaps do a search on the forum to find it? I think that's how I finally determined what dosage to use - just by reading a bunch of posts and seeing what worked for other people.
